Today, Interakting's "Pelican" PHP framework has reached an advanced level of maturity and can be used to generate, in a rapid time scale, Internet systems that are tailored to the customers' business activities and requirements to support their B2C, B2B, B2E and C2C strategies.
Leveraging this innovative framework, Interakting, can provide homogeneous solutions for Portal, CMS, E-commerce and multi-site platforms and thereby generate numerous economies of scale.
This PHP framework has been adopted by several customers for whom the combination of content, transactional and multi-site management is of prime importance. Further, a portal module has been added to complete the offering.
This has been particularly successful with some twenty strategic clients spanning all business sectors including:
"Our sales approach often surprises our customers." says Alain Werdenschlag, Interakting E-business Director. "We subscribe to a customer community pooling and valuation model which is diametrically opposed to a license-based publisher offering. Our customers contribute to the Framework's
development roadmap and subsequently benefit from all of the innovations. This community is run by our R&D unit through business intelligence meetings. Furthermore, a user club will be launched before the end of the year. The organisation of a Pelican support system falls in line with this initiative and ensures sustainability of investment."
"On a purely technical level, our initiative is unprecedented", comments Raphaël Carles, Interakting's E-business Technical Director. "The Pelican framework is the repository of our technological know-how. It is meant to be all-purpose, both in terms of application (various databases' management, memory management, etc.) as well as architecture (multi-front, operating system, with or without database, etc.). From our positioning perspective and opposed to other open source frameworks found worldwide, Pelican has been conceived to increase productivity and help reap economies of scale. The Zend framework's integration gives direct access to all innovations brought about by the community. Finally, we have opted for a technical components-based approach. Hence, we are able to freely process several portal and CMS, portal and e-commerce, portal and external widget, etc., combinations within one and the same page."
"Even if many IT services companies have their own development framework, our client references show that we are a market leader for strategic projects requiring substantial development standardisation", concludes Patrick Bensabat, Business & Decision Chairman and Managing Director. "We have a significant edge, especially when it comes to reliability and our capacity to create complex interfaces. This explains the fact that we are ideally positioned to meet all of the new digital marketing challenges."
These references strengthen Business & Decision Group's Interakting brand and confirm its ability to attract major corporate clients and satisfy their technical and creative needs.
