Paris, France, July 17th 2008 - Business & Decision, Consulting and Systems Integration Company, specialising in Business Intelligence, Customer Relationship Management and e-Business, announces the appointment of Deborah Woodford at the Head of its International Division of Administration and Finance (DAF).
Deborah Woodford is an English ACA ‘Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales', equivalent to the CPA qualification or the DEC ‘Conseil Superieur de l'ordre des Expert Comptables' the National Council for the organisation of public accountants in France. She started out at KPMG London where she spent 5 years and has since acquired more than 12 years experience in France.
In France, Deborah Woodford has worked as European Controller at Completel then as Group FP&A Manager/ Group controller at Medimedia Group before joining Hummingbird / Open Text France as head of Finance. Deborah Woodford facilitated the restructuring program in France by providing a financial framework with tight financial control, performance review and cash management alongside a tax and risk appraisal of the French and European operations.
Deborah Woodford joins the Business & Decision team to fill a new position. Due to the internationalisation of operations and the growing number of foreign subsidiaries, the Group has decided to set up a "dual-headed" financial management structure. Frédéric Lecan, who has been following the Group's financial progress since 2004, will take over the management of the French Financial Division as well as supervise, with Deborah Woodford, consolidation efforts, risk control and internal audit.
