PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 13 - Business & Decision announced the launch of its North American eClinical Division. This line of business will focus on providing Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device and CRO companies with a range of eClinical IT Services and Solutions. At the helm of this new business is 20 year Life Science veteran, Kathryn Hanson, Director of eClinical Services and Solutions. Initially, our services and solutions will include business process consulting, implementation and technical services, application training, IT compliance and validation, application hosting, and managed services for Oracle's Life Sciences product suite. Business & Decision will focus its services around the Oracle Clinical, Remote Data Capture and Thesaurus Management System and Siebel Clinical Trials Management System suite of applications. Business & Decision's North American Life Sciences practice (formerly known as Mi Services Group) has long been recognized internationally as the premier leader in IT Compliance and Computer System Validation for Enterprise Systems (ERP, MES MRPII, LIMS). In Europe, current capabilities around clinical data management, clinical analytics, CDISC integration and CRO staffing services in the clinical space are clearly defined and widely recognized across the market. "The North American eClinical offering will elevate Business & Decision's market standing as an International service provider with a superior breadth and depth of industry acumen. We expect to see significant penetration in this market in 2008, in part through our Certified Advantage Oracle partnership and also through our position in the European market." says Bill Fitch. "Our reputation as an integrator of choice for Oracle's E-Business Suite is well established, and the addition of eClinical solutions is both a natural extension of our services and a confirmation of Oracle's leadership in this vital industry." commented Robin Kearon, CEO Business & Decision, North America.
