Business & Decision, the international consulting and data engineering company specialising in Business Intelligence, Customer Relationship Management, Enterprise Resource Planning and E-Business, today announced the launch of its Management Consulting practice following the appointment of Francis Sullivan, formerly Managing Director of Techne Capital.

Sullivan joins Business & Decision as Head of Management Consulting and will add his expertise in setting up its UK Management Consulting practice, initially focusing on risk management and performance improvement initiatives within the financial services sector.

“With the launch of Business & Decision’s UK Management Consulting practice, my experience in business process/improvement and my industry knowledge of financial services will prove valuable in driving forward its success.”Previously Sullivan spent 8 years at Techne Capital as a specialist in providing Business Performance Improvement, Planning and Corporate Finance solutions. During this time Sullivan was involved in a series of large scale, back office, reengineering programmes, aimed at improving the "customer experience", streamlining business processes and reducing the cost base within a number of large banking, asset management and insurance organisations. Sullivan spent 3 of these years in Korea where he was Non-Executive Chairman for one of the country’s largest financial institutions.
Prior to Techne Capital, Sullivan gained over 25 years experience as a Management Consultant working for leading edge strategy and performance improvement consultants Price Waterhouse and Arthur D Little. Sullivan’s client interests lay in revenue-side consulting and business development, particularly customer intelligence, management, loyalty and new product and channels to market. During this time, Sullivan worked with some of the leading financial services institutions in Europe, the US and Far East.
